a view into my shoe collection part 4

one of my oldest pairs of heels got them back in 2007 at target for $4.24. i was looking for a pair of black pumps with a pointy toe but even though they have an almond toe i felt the price and cute ribbon detail made them a steal. i wore them to a wedding last year and numerous nights out.

Ok...to leave you a comment about the meme you tagged me in.

And I got TOTALLY SIDETRACKED looking at your shoes. I'm totally going to go finish looking until I've made sure I've seen every pair.

I'm so jealous of you...I'd bust my ankles and fall on my face in some of the shoes you have on here. But I love them all!

And apparently I was too sidetracked by the awesomeness of your shoe collection to spell check my previous post to ensure it made sense. (first sentence)

thanks so much. i really love that you like them. i just got totally hooked on shoes last year. and, i mean totally hooked. they are my babies now. most of them look harder to walk in than they really are. like these are actually pretty low heels maybe 2 or 2 1/2 inches. and, stability has nothing to do with the height. its about the construction of the shoes. wedges are a great in between for people not used to heels want the height but tons of stability. or, look for heels with a platform especially a hidden platform. the highest heels i own are 4 1/2. i really respect drag queens who wear 7 inch and higher heels literally walking on point.
i couldn't wear heels for years due to ankle injuries and since i had my ankle reconstruction they are my fave. i was dumb enough back in the day to tend bar in 4 inch heels. you just get used to it.
i recently got into flats which i think are super fun for running errands.
